BLH Electrical Installations Ltd was formed in 2010, in Boulton Moor, Derby
BLH Electrical was accredited by the NICEIC in 2011 and to this day has always achieved top grading by inspectors
A controlled yet sustained growth lead the company to a stable position within its market sectors
BLH specialises in commercial and industrial electrical contracting works, electrical maintenance and breakdown works.
Head office is now located at the Parker Centre, Derby, with both office and warehouse facilities
Our work is geographically located all over the United Kingdom. Our clients to date include River Island, Aurora Fashions, Farrow & Ball, Luke Roper, Ben Sherman, Penguin, Bjorn Borg and Jack Wills
We actively promote good health and safety standards throughout the company, ensuring appropriate training and qualifications for our staff. We are audited regularly by an external health and safety consultant

Chris lives in Derbyshire, operating out of the Derbyshire offices.BLH Electrical Installations Ltd is a Midlands based electrical contracting company who provide a professional and friendly service to the retail, commercial and industrial sectors throughout the UK and beyond.
With dedicated office professionals and electricians trained to the highest standards, BLH are ideally placed to provide an exemplary service to our clients. We pride ourselves on a high level of workmanship and we believe we present a friendly face to our clients in the tough world of electrical contracting.Operations Director@ is an electrical trade trained engineer having worked through the ranks to director level. @ has worked on some of the major installations throughout the UK and is responsible for delivering the operation overall. @ is based in Derbyshire when he is not travelling the UK on business.Small Works Supervisor@ runs the reactive maintenance and small repairs service. This involves multi trade call-outs and follow up repairs.also looks after a number of larger scale projects when time allows.Qualifying Supervisor
@ has responsibility for managing a number of local key accounts. In addition, @ looks after the NICEIC compliance and has developed a high level of knowledge of contemporary lighting technologies, designs etc. which enables us to advice our clients in an impartial manner.Industrial Project Supervisor
@ has been site manager on one of the largest single projects undertaken by BLH. It is his experience of working with a more complex team including in house engineers, quantity surveyors, specialist subcontractors, as well as the client and principle contractor, that maintains an efficiency on these larger scale projects.Domestic Project Supervisoris the last to join the management team, having been with company since it’s formation. @ has a number of accounts that require a flexible and sensitive approach because of the nature of the site. @ has proven to be able to make progress on projects under very awkward circumstances and to gain the trust from the clientH&S and accreditationsHealth & Safety – The company places enormous emphasis on working safely and operates a ‘work safe’ policy. To ensure continuous compliance and to provide an external perspective, we retain the services of RSP Safety Services as ‘H&S Advisor’. The company has an excellent H&S track record which we are more than happy to share with our clients and prospective clients.Environmental Policy & Corporate Responsibility Policy – As a responsible employer and part of a more general local community, as well as being actively involved in projects that help sustainability, the operation is always looking at way in which it can deliver in a more environmentally friendly way and to ensure a positive code of conduct.Equal Opportunities & Dignity at Work Policy – As part of the very open culture the company cultivates, we are cognizant of keeping absolutely up to date with HR legislation and retains the services of Com HR to manage HR issues including updating policy documents relating to HR.CHAS & SAFE contractor – Further evidence of the commitment to ensuring the company complies to the highest H&S standards is our membership of CHAS and Safe contractor, both organisations recognised as requiring rigorous H&S procedures of their members.NICEIC – BLH considered it essential to gain accreditation with the NICEIC, again to provide comfort that electrical standards are met, although we treat this standard as the very minimum.Constructionline – As a business enjoying a large part of it’s business within the public sector, BLH have sought approval under the Constructionline scheme which tests the companies policies and procedures in respect of H&S, environmental management, human resources etc.
